Job summary

Dow's Emulsions/Polymers production facility in Knoxville, TN has an opening for an Operations Performance Engineer. You will help the plant deliver EH&S excellence, reliability, efficiency and low cost to produce.

In this role, you will partner with Operations, Maintenance, EH&S and other functions to optimize performance, apply MET, and drive corrective and preventive actions for safe, reliable production of quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering by January 2027.
• Chemical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations team to apply problem-solving and technical expertise.
• Use MET and process automation as tools to optimize plant performance.
• Lead troubleshooting and document operating discipline for improvements.
• Identify root causes of asset utilization losses and drive corrective actions.
