Job summary

Dow Chemical's Emulsions/Polymers production facility in Knoxville, TN has an opening for an Operations Performance Engineer to drive EH&S excellence, reliability, and cost efficiency.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, EH&S and other functions to optimize plant performance, apply MET, and lead root-cause analysis during issues while developing technical and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering by January 2027; chemical or mechanical preferred.
• Experience in a chemical production facility preferred.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Drive EH&S excellence, reliability, efficiency and cost reduction in the Knoxville plant.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, EH&S and other functions to optimize plant performance.
• Lead root-cause analysis, MET usage, and actions to sustain operating discipline.
