Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is a vertically integrated supplier of aggregates and paving services. This role supports the Foreperson by operating heavy equipment, performing labor, and assisting with plant operations at various locations with the portable plant.

Candidate must be able to travel, work nights/weekends, and adhere to OSHA/MSHA safety standards while maintaining quality and teamwork in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and assist Foreperson with daily production duties.
• Weld and fabricate as needed and perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Assist with general labor, cleaning, and other duties as directed by the Plant Manager/Superintendent/Foreperson.
• Follow safety policies, report hazards, and wear required PPE.
• Work at various locations with the portable plant and contribute to efficient plant operations.
