Job summary

The Shelly Company is seeking a hands-on Heavy Equipment Operator/Plant Helper to support daily production at various Ohio locations. You will operate heavy machinery, assist the foreperson, and perform general labor tasks to keep the plant running smoothly.

Responsibilities include spotting safety hazards, maintaining equipment, and complying with OSHA/MSHA guidelines. Weekend and night shifts may be required, with travel to different sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and assist foreperson with daily production duties.
• Perform general labor, shovel, and assist with equipment maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety rules and respond to hazards or malfunctions.
• Support plant operations and cleanup at job sites as required.
