Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, seeks a Portable Plant Operator for night shift to assist the Foreperson with daily production at our portable plant sites across Ohio. You will operate heavy equipment, perform general labor, and help maintain safety and efficiency.

Applicants should be able to read and follow instructions, work nights/weekends, and wear required PPE while supporting plant operations and safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to perform essential duties safely and effectively.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreperson with daily production duties at the portable plant.
• Operate heavy equipment and perform general labor tasks as required.
• Weld and fabricate as needed and assist with safety compliance.
• Maintain plant operations and keep area clean and organized.
• Follow OSHA and MSHA rules and site safety procedures.
