Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a motivated plant worker to assist the Foreperson by operating heavy equipment, performing labor and plant maintenance at various locations with portable plant.

You will work nights and weekends as required, following OSHA/MSHA safety rules, and wearing PPE. A high school diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience is preferred to support a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Less than or equal to a high school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreperson with daily production duties by operating heavy equipment and performing plant-related functions.
• Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
• Weld and fabricate as needed.
• Assist with general labor, shoveling, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with daily plant operations and upkeep; keep areas clean.
