Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH Company, is seeking a dependable worker to assist the Foreperson with daily production duties by operating heavy equipment and performing plant-related tasks at multiple locations. You will also help with general labor and equipment maintenance, while adhering to safety guidelines.

The role requires willingness to travel, night and weekend work when necessary, and strict compliance with OSHA and MSHA safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreperson with daily production duties by operating heavy equipment and performing plant-related tasks at multiple locations.
• Identify and respond to safety hazards and equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain safe operation of heavy equipment such as Haul Truck, Water Truck, Dump Truck, Dredge, Track Hoe, Frontend Loader, and Skid Steer Loader.
• Weld and fabricate as needed; assist with general labor, shoveling, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with daily plant operations and upkeep; keep area clean and organized.
