Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a Portable Plant Equipment/Plant Operator for day shift. This role supports the foreperson with daily production at portable plant locations, operating heavy equipment and performing general labor and maintenance tasks.

Welding and fabrication may be required; strict adherence to OSHA and MSHA safety standards is expected. Travel to various sites and night/weekend work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1–3 months related experience acceptable

Responsibilities

• Assist foreperson with daily production duties at portable plant locations.
• Operate heavy equipment as listed and ensure safe, efficient functionality.
• Follow directions, perform basic welding & fabrication as needed.
• Perform general labor, equipment maintenance, and cleaning around the plant.
• Adhere to OSHA and MSHA safety requirements and company policies.
