Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH organization, is hiring an entry-level to mid-level operator to support daily plant production across Ohio. You will assist the foreperson, operate heavy equipment, perform minor welding, and help with general labor to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

You must be able to work at various locations, follow directions, and adhere to OSHA/MSHA safety standards while maintaining equipment and assisting the crew as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreperson with daily production duties and plant operations.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently (haul trucks, loaders, dredge, etc.).
• Follow directions and maintain equipment as required.
• Weld and fabricate as needed to support plant activities.
• Perform general labor and assist crew on a variety of tasks.
• Help with daily plant upkeep and housekeeping."
• Comply with OSHA and MSHA safety regulations.
