Oldcastle APG in Calverton, NY, is seeking a Site Manager to direct a fast-paced manufacturing site across shifts. You will drive safety, quality and efficiency, manage capital projects, and lead a skilled team toward meeting financial and operational goals.

You will spend substantial time on the floor, implement continuous improvement, enforce SOPs, and collaborate with EH&S to ensure regulatory compliance. A strong track record in plant management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years as a plant manager in a similar industry or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience managing automated, high-speed manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to review and discuss results of production reports and financial statements.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for ensuring excellence through the 5 plant fundamentals of safety, housekeeping, preventive maintenance, productivity, and quality.
• Manages controllable expenses to meet financial goals.
• Drives continuous improvement and a culture of excellence across functions.
• Leverages best practices across sites and shares learnings.
• Monitors equipment/processes to expand capability and efficiency.
• Ensures BOMs are correct and product is manufactured within cost/quality commitments.
• Oversees yard organization, inventory rotation, and obsolete stock management.
• Works with EH&S to ensure environmental compliance.
• Spends 60%+ of time on the floor with plant teams and leadership.
• Develops training programs and hiring talent aligned with site needs.
