Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Zephyrhills plant. The role focuses on safety, quality, and high-performing teams while driving continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, manufacturing management experience, and a track record of cost reductions. This on-site position supports long-term business goals and collaborates with site leadership to shape strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and/or 3+ years' experience in a similar industry.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing management.
• Site or Plant management experience driving engagement and performance.
• Experience with full Profit & Loss responsibility.
• Experience overseeing production, maintenance, and facility operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and product quality.
• Plan and manage production schedules, work assignments, and resource allocation.
• Monitor KPIs and use dashboards to drive improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coach and develop production supervisors and frontline teams.
• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Identify lean opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Drive process optimization and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with site leadership on long-term manufacturing strategies.
• Enter and maintain safety data in Oldcastle programs.
