Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance professional to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective work on plant and quarry equipment, ensuring reliability and uptime in a heavy industrial setting. You will disassemble, repair, and rebuild components, align machinery, and support pneumatic/hydraulic systems while complying with safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, ability to read blueprints, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing, mining, or industrial environments.
• Experience with welding, equipment alignment, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and rebuild crushers, screens, and conveyors.
• Install, maintain, and align mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, and rotating equipment.
• Support pneumatic and hydraulic systems; assist with outages and major repairs.
