Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a maintenance technician to perform inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on plant equipment in an on-site Gravesville facility. You will troubleshoot electrical systems, drives, PLCs, and control circuits while following safety guidelines and using CMMS to complete work orders.

Ideal candidates bring strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills, read schematics and one-line diagrams, and can work extended shifts to keep critical equipment

Qualifications

• Perform inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair drives, PLCs, control circuits, and electrical systems.
• Read one-line diagrams and schematics to install or repair gear.
• Commit to safety, complete workplace inspections, and maintain tools.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to call out as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on plant operating equipment.
• Conduct accurate preventive maintenance (PMs).
• Troubleshoot, service, and repair plant equipment including bearings, belts, gearboxes.
• Disassemble/reassemble crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
• Install and align electrical motors, troubleshoot drives, and set up A/C drives.
• Work with CMMS to complete work orders and checklists.
