Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance technician to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and rebuilds on quarry and plant equipment. You will help maximize uptime and support continuous improvement in a heavy industrial setting.

Required are 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, welding and equipment alignment knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with technical training preferred.
• Apprenticeship or technical program experience in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies including MSHA and environmental standards.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Install, align, and commission new equipment with precision tools.
• Complete work orders and maintenance reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain tools, organize work areas, and support outages as needed.
