Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on plant equipment. You will help achieve plant OEE by reducing unplanned downtime and participating in ongoing training programs.

The role requires mechanical experience, welding capability, and a strong focus on safety. Candidates should be able to read blueprints and operate basic maintenance tools in a lime/mineral production environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial background and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Basic math and reading of blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Welding capability and preventive maintenance experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health and safety regulations and SQF initiatives.
• Complete and document Workplace Inspections in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and report findings.
• Initiate work orders as required.
• Install and maintain bearings and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot, service and repair plant equipment including hydraulics and pneumatics.
