Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on plant equipment at our Texas facilities. The role requires troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, reading schematics, and operating within CMMS workflows.

Candidate will conduct preventive maintenance, service drives and PLC circuits, and work with bearings, belts, and gearboxes while ensuring safety standards and effective communication with supervisors and peers.

Qualifications

• Experience performing inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on plant equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and control circuits.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in industrial settings.
• Proficiency reading schematics and one-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on plant operating equipment.
• Conduct accurate PMs and troubleshoot electrical drives.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, control circuits, and motor drives.
• Maintain bearings, gears, belts, and rotating equipment.
• Follow CMMS work orders and checklists.
