Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance technician to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds on plant equipment to support reliable operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance in heavy industrial settings, reading blueprints, welding, and supporting continuous improvement. Safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards are integral to daily work; join our team and contribute to uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required, with apprenticeship or technical program preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing, mining, or industrial environments.
• Experience reading blueprints and mechanical drawings; welding and equipment alignment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and rebuild crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
• Install, maintain, and align bearings, belts, and rotating equipment; support pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
