Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a small manufacturing facility with one production line and 15–20 staff, driving production, safety and quality to meet customer specs. You will own the plant's financial performance, budgets, and cost management while implementing maintenance and asset-care programs to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Industrial Management, Engineering or Business.
• 5+ years of manufacturing and leadership experience.
• Knowledge of statistics and process improvement techniques.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong financial acumen and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small manufacturing facility of 1 line and 15-20 staff.
• Provide leadership to meet production goals, safety and customer specs.
• Own the plant financial performance including budgets and costs.
• Ensure asset-care and maintenance systems to improve reliability.
• Schedule, track, & monitor production and costs to meet goals.
• Maintain workforce through hiring, training and coaching.
• Implement and demonstrate best practices and policies.
• Complete and maintain timely reports on production outcomes.
• Provide feedback up and down the organization.
• Develop safety awareness programs and lead investigations.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Assist manufacturing operation with hands-on support.
