Job summary

Novolex is seeking a production leadership professional to drive manufacturing excellence at our site. You will oversee a large frontline and supervisory team, ensuring safe practices, timely delivery, and cost control while meeting quality standards.

The role emphasizes implementing best practices, coaching staff, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Strong communication and data-driven decision-making are essential for success in this high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 8 years of manufacturing experience including 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Prior Injection Molding and LEAN experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and process improvement techniques.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated effective leadership and communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to assigned department(s) and teams to meet production goals and safety standards.
• Typically supervise 125+ employees including salaried, hourly, and agency temps.
• Schedule, track, and monitor production and costs to meet established goals.
• Maintain workforce through hiring, training, coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and implement best practices and consistent policies.
• Complete timely reports on critical production outcomes (efficiency, downtime, cost).
• Provide feedback up and down the organization.
• Develop safety awareness programs and lead investigations into safety issues.
• Lead, design and implement continuous improvement processes.
