Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations at our facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production. You will direct maintenance personnel, oversee preventive/predictive programs, manage budgets, and coordinate capital projects.

The role partners with Production, Quality, Safety, and Administrative teams to drive continuous improvement and asset performance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance leadership, strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with plastics manufacturing, including extrusion and converting.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Reliability, TPM, or related maintenance disciplines.
• Experience with capital project management and equipment installations.
• Experience utilizing CMMS and maintenance inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance personnel and ensure safe work practices.
• Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee daily maintenance activities to support plant operations.
• Manage departmental budgets, maintenance expenses, inventory, and cost-control initiatives.
• Coordinate facility and equipment projects including installations and upgrades.
• Serve as liaison during regulatory inspections and ensure compliance.
• Drive root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
