Novolex is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a small California manufacturing facility with one production line and 15–20 staff. You will drive safety, productivity, and quality while owning budgeting, scheduling, and performance reporting. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and hands-on leadership to meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, strong financial acumen, and proficiency in MS Office. A BA/BS in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred in Industrial Management, Engineering or Business.
• 5+ years of manufacturing and leadership experience.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and process improvement techniques.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective team building and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small manufacturing facility of 1 line and 15-20 associates.
• Provide leadership to meet production goals, ensure safety and customer specs.
• Own plant financial performance including budgets, forecasts, and costs.
• Ensure asset-care and maintenance programs to improve reliability.
• Schedule, track, and monitor production and costs to meet goals.
• Maintain workforce through hiring, training, coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Implement and demonstrate best practices and policies.
• Prepare timely reports on production outcomes (efficiency, downtime, cost).
• Provide feedback up and down the organization.
• Develop safety awareness programs and lead safety investigations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist operations with hands-on support as needed.
