Novolex is seeking a Technical Manager to lead maintenance, engineering, printing, production and facilities at our operations in the United States. The role will oversee Maintenance staff and drive equipment uptime while achieving cost targets.

The position requires managing the plant capital budget, directing technical initiatives, and coordinating safety and environmental compliance. Strong leadership and cross-functional communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in Industrial Management, Engineering or Business.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods and process improvement techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office; able to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Engineering and Maintenance to maximize production while meeting cost targets.
• Manage capital budget and develop technical talent within the group.
• Ensure plant facilities and production equipment are properly maintained.
• Oversee plant Capital Budget and Engineering expense budget.
• Collaborate with operations to identify capital deployment opportunities.
• Coordinate CAR submissions and capital activities.
• Lead hiring, salary administration, performance management and development.
• Provide engineering support to sustain plant production and implement initiatives.
• Oversee AOP budget covering salaries, facilities, maintenance materials and utilities.
• Ensure environmental compliance and support safety programs.
