Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Plant Manager - Aggregate to lead mining and production at the assigned Plant in Minnesota. You will plan, direct and coordinate activities to meet dispatcher requests, ensure quality products and manage staff.

Responsibilities include optimizing productivity, maintaining safety, coordinating with dispatch, fleet maintenance and QA, and controlling costs while delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering; 5–7 years Aggregate Mining and related Raw Materials Plant Production experience.
• Field of Study Preferred: Mining Engineering, Managing.
• Technical: SAP experience preferred; strong computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity at the Plant.
• Address customer needs while protecting the long-term interests of the Company.
• Initiate production and scheduling programs to increase productivity and maintain safe operations while controlling costs.
• Manage subordinate personnel; work independently, meet deadlines and manage the Plant with fiscal integrity.
• Delegate responsibilities and evaluate subordinate performance; hold others accountable constructively.
• Participate in safety inspections (MSHA) and company inspections.
• Coordinate with site crew including plant operators and laborers; may operate.
• Supervise team to maintain production and efficiency; schedule production and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels at site to service customers.
• Promote health, safety and environmental policies and culture.
