Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the Glyndon, MN plant operations, overseeing production, staffing, inventory, and safety compliance. This role drives efficiency, quality, and cost controls while coordinating with dispatch, fleet, and quality control teams to meet regional needs.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree with 5-7 years in aggregate mining or related plant production, and SAP experience is a plus. A strong leadership mindset and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Field of Study: Mining Engineering, Management.
• 5-7 years aggregate mining and related raw materials plant production experience.
• SAP experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify new operational opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Address customer needs while protecting company interests.
• Implement production and scheduling programs to increase productivity and maintain safe operations within budget.
• Manage subordinate performance, work independently, meet deadlines, and supervise the plant with fiscal integrity.
• Delegate responsibilities and hold others accountable in a constructive manner.
• Participate in safety inspections, including MSHA inspections.
• Communicate with site crew (operators and laborers) and participate in operating activities as needed.
• Supervise teams to maintain production and efficiency; schedule production and preventative maintenance.
