Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Plant Manager - Aggregate in North America to lead production at the assigned plant, ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery of materials. You will oversee staffing, inventory, and cross-department collaboration with Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance, and Quality Control to optimize operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mining Engineering or Management, 5-7 years in aggregate mining or raw materials production, and proficiency with computer systems; SAP experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Management.
• 5-7 years Aggregate Mining and related Raw Materials Plant Production experience.
• Computer proficiency required; SAP experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and control mining and production to meet dispatch requests.
• Ensure staffing and inventory monitoring at the plant and coordinate with Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance, Quality Control, and regional admin/finance.
• Analyze production efficiency and develop strategies to raise productivity while maintaining safety and controlling costs.
• Supervise and develop subordinate staff; delegate responsibilities and hold others accountable in a constructive manner.
• Participate in safety and MSHA inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Maintain inventory levels and communicate with site crew (operators, laborers) to meet customer needs.
