Job summary

Amrize seeks a Plant Manager - Aggregate to lead mining operations and oversee production at the assigned plant in North America. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities to meet dispatch requests efficiently while ensuring quality products and safe operations.

Leading staffing, inventory control, and interdepartmental coordination with Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance, and Quality Control will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years aggregate mining and related raw materials plant production experience.
• Field of study preferred: Mining Engineering, Managing.

Responsibilities

• Consistently identify new operational opportunities and develop strategies for improved efficiency and productivity.
• Address customer needs while promoting long-term interests of the company.
• Initiate and implement production and scheduling programs to increase productivity while maintaining safe operations and controlling expenses.
• Manage subordinate personnel, work independently, meet deadlines, and manage the plant with fiscal integrity.
• Delegate responsibilities and evaluate performance, holding others accountable constructively.
• Participate in company safety inspections and MSHA inspections.
• Communicate with site crew (plant operator, loader operators, laborers) and may participate in operating crew.
• Supervise team to maintain production and efficiency; schedule production and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain inventory levels at site to service customers.
• Promote a culture of safety and adherence to health, safety and environmental policies.
