Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Plant Manager - Aggregate to lead mining operations and production at the assigned Plant. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities to meet dispatch requests promptly and cost-effectively while ensuring product quality and safety at all times.

You will oversee staffing, inventory, and interdepartmental coordination with Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance, and Quality Control, aiming to raise productivity and maintain budgeted expenses in a dynamic site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field; 5-7 years of aggregate mining and raw materials plant production experience.
• Strong computer and SAP skills; familiarity with production planning and control systems.
• Safety-conscious leader with ability to manage staffing and budget responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and control mining of raw materials and production of shippable product at the Plant.
• Ensure staffing and monitor inventory status; coordinate with Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance, Quality Control, and Regional Admin/Finance.
• Develop mining and production strategies to raise productivity while maintaining safety and controlling costs.
• Manage subordinate performance, delegate responsibilities, and hold team accountable.
• Supervise production scheduling and preventive maintenance; ensure adequate inventory to service customers.
