Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company in Seattle is seeking a Maintenance Manager (Project Management) to lead and supervise the plant's maintenance and capital project activities. You will coordinate preventative and predictive maintenance, manage budgets, and drive safety programs across the facility.

The role requires a 4-year engineering degree and 5+ years in cement manufacturing with management experience. Strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 year/Bachelors Degree in engineering or related field is required or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of cement manufacturing facility experience with management responsibilities.
• Proficient in English written, verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to lead and manage others and make sound decisions.
• Knowledge of MSHA safety regulations and EPA environmental rules.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Establishs, communicates, and assigns job responsibilities, goals, and performance standards for employees.
• Collaborates with other departments on maintenance projects and priorities.
• Plans, schedules and supervises maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Develops major shutdown schedules and post-shutdown critiques.
• Oversees all aspects of the maintenance department.
• Coordinates with vendors and contractors for repairs and equipment.
