Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of supervisory experience in a cement or related plant.
• Ability to read, write and understand warning labels and instructions.
• Proficient in English written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of cement production processes and heat transfer.
• Ability to lead and organize work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, organizing, and scheduling in production to meet quality and production goals.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and train staff accordingly.
• Plan mill and kiln operations with maintenance, quality control, shipping, and production teams.
• Oversee shift supervisors and production staff, ensuring efficient operations.
• Manage inventory controls for raw materials, fuels, and finished products.
• Prepare and monitor reports for plant management and budgets.
• Support plant construction projects and vendor communications.
• Address discipline issues and support management in union-related matters.
