Job summary

MOD Pizza in Oregon City is hiring a Restaurant Shift Supervisor. You will lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, mentor new hires, drive program rollouts, and ensure all tasks meet MOD's standards while delivering an outstanding guest experience.

You will direct deployment, training, safety and equipment checks, handle cash and inventory, follow opening and closing checklists, and keep lines of communication open with the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring, training or informal leadership.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow processes and coach with compassion.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days where required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability for at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by ensuring the right squad member is in the right place and tasks are done to support guests.
• Train newly hired or promoted squad members and support program rollouts.
• Maintain restaurant systems and equipment, including online ordering and customer reviews.
• Ensure food safety standards are followed in Back and Front of House.
• Address squad member and guest concerns; escalate to AM/GM as needed.
• Manage cash handling within the shift, including refunds and safe access.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Regularly review emails from Slice and other sources to keep the squad informed.
