MOD Pizza, Inc. in Pickerington, OH is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD standards to deliver the best guest experience. You will guide the squad, ensure smooth service, and support management in achieving restaurant goals.

This role emphasizes mentorship, process adherence, safety, and effective communication. Requirements include 1 year of restaurant/customer service experience, 18+ hours weekly, and certifications

Qualifications

• One year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Mentor, trainer, or informal leader experience.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow processes and coach others compassionately.
• Willing to obtain food safety certification and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure a welcoming, smooth-running restaurant.
• Train new hires and support program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment in line with goals.
• Ensure food safety in Back and Front of House.
• Address squad member and guest concerns and escalate as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift and process refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed.
• Complete shift checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Stay informed via email for updates to guide the squad.
