Job summary

Papa John's is seeking a dependable Shift Leader to oversee restaurant shifts, ensure food quality, customer service, and smooth operations. You will support team members, manage cash handling, and assist in inventory control while upholding safety standards.

The role requires flexibility, reliable attendance and the ability to work long shifts, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment. Experience in quick-service is preferred and Serv-Safe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), nights, weekends, and emergencies arise.
• Ability to perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shifts and work areas to ensure high quality products and customer service.
• Adhere to station guidelines and portioning, maintaining product quality and holding times.
• Support profitability by managing costs, cash handling, and inventory levels.
• Provide feedback and address problems promptly to maintain operations excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and local laws.
