Job summary

Papa John’s USA, Inc. is seeking a General Manager for Corporate Restaurant Operations to lead all functions of a Papa John’s restaurant, ensuring profitability through strong leadership, planning, forecasting, and compliance with policies and systems.

This role reports to Operations management and may supervise Operations Managers, Designates, and Shift Leaders. The General Manager oversees staff, customer service, inventory, safety, and financial performance, with a focus on maintaining brand

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and customer service standards and address deficiencies.
• Respond promptly to customer concerns or issues.
• Solicit and act on customer feedback to improve operations and loyalty.
• Oversee training and execution of quality standards.
• Oversee recruitment to meet staffing needs and compliance with appearance standards.
• Set performance expectations and conduct reviews.
• Document issues and take disciplinary action when needed.
• Coach and develop staff and foster teamwork and recognition programs.
• Manage sales against budget and past performance, improve ticket averages and order frequency.
• Seek additional sales through local marketing and community presence.
• Control costs and optimize food, labor, and other expenses using the FOCUS system.
• Develop plans to resolve unfavorable trends and improve profits.
• Execute administrative and cash management duties.
• Plan inventory to meet demand and minimize loss.
• Ensure premises, safety and security standards are met and equipment is maintained.
