Job summary

Papa John's USA, Inc. seeks a General Manager for Corporate Restaurant Operations to oversee all functions of a Papa John's restaurant, driving profitability through leadership, planning, forecasting, and adherence to company policies and systems.

You will manage staff, ensure food safety and quality, coach teams, and implement local marketing while maintaining compliance with laws and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two years restaurant management or supervision experience preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Serv-Safe/Local/State Food Service Certification.
• Basic accounting including invoice reconciliation and financial statement analysis.
• Cash management skills.
• Bilingual in certain markets.
• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and customer service standards, identify deficiencies, and address issues.
• Respond promptly to customer concerns or issues.
• Solicit customer feedback and use it to improve operations and loyalty.
• Oversee training and execution of quality standards.
• Oversee recruiting to meet staffing needs and adherence to standards.
• Establish performance expectations and conduct reviews with direct reports.
• Document performance issues and take disciplinary action when needed.
• Coach and develop team to foster teamwork and recognition programs.
• Manage sales against budget and prior year, and address sales trends.
