Job summary

Papa John's USA, Inc. seeks a General Manager for Corporate Restaurant Operations to oversee all functions of a Papa Johns restaurant and ensure profitability.

You will lead planning, forecasting, and systems, enforce company policies, and manage operations when the Operations Manager is unavailable. You will coach teams, manage scheduling, food and labor costs, and drive sales while maintaining quality and service standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of successful restaurant management or supervision preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and customer service standards and address deficiencies.
• Respond promptly to customer concerns or issues.
• Solicit customer feedback and use it to improve operations and build brand loyalty.
• Oversee training and execution of quality standards.
• Oversee recruiting to meet staffing needs and ensure uniform/appearance standards.
• Set performance expectations and conduct reviews with direct reports.
• Document performance issues and take disciplinary actions when needed.
• Coach direct reports and foster teamwork, energy and recognition programs.
• Manage sales goals and budgets, improve ticket average and order frequency.
• Execute local restaurant marketing to drive traffic and profits.
• Control food, labor, and other costs within budget using the FOCUS System.
• Develop plans to resolve unfavorable trends and boost profits.
• Handle administrative and cash management duties.
• Plan inventory levels to meet demand and minimize loss.
• Ensure safety, security, and proper maintenance of restaurant assets.
