Job summary

Papa John's International, Inc. is seeking a General Manager for Corporate Restaurant Operations to oversee all functions of a Papa John's restaurant and drive profitability.

You will lead self-sufficient teams, ensure quality decisions, and implement planning, forecasting, and systems to meet company goals. Responsibilities include managing operations, ensuring compliance with policies and budgets, recruiting and developing staff, achieving sales and profit targets, and maintaining inventory,

Qualifications

• Two years successful restaurant management or supervision experience preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Serv-Safe/Local/State Food Service Certification
• Basic accounting including invoice reconciliation and financial statement analysis.
• Cash management skills
• Bilingual in certain markets
• Must have a driver’s license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to work long hours (50+ hours per week) including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and customer service standards, identify deficiencies, and address issues with direct reports.
• Oversee recruiting efforts and communicate performance expectations; conduct reviews and coach staff.
• Manage sales goals against budget and prior year; implement local marketing plans to boost ticket averages and order frequency.
• Control costs (food, labor, and other expenses) within budget using the FOCUS System; plan inventory to meet demand and minimize loss.
• Ensure restaurant safety, security, and preventative maintenance; manage assets and cash handling duties.
