Jim 'N Nick's Community Bar-B-Q is seeking a hands-on pit specialist to own the pit and meat operation in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will run our smokers with skill, cut and portion to spec, and ensure every pound of smoked meat meets our high standards.

You will also manage inventory and food waste, follow procedures precisely, and maintain rigorous safety and sanitation practices to protect the brand and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience as pitmaster, meat cutter, line cook, expediter, or prep cook is required.
• Disciplined, consistent, and proud of the craft.

Responsibilities

• Own the pit and meat operation: run smokers with skill and consistency, cut and portion to spec and monitor quality of every pound of smoked meat.
• Manage inventory and food waste in the pit and meat area, follow procedures to the letter, and uphold safety and sanitation.
