Job summary

Jim 'N Nick's Community Bar-B-Q is seeking a pitmaster to own the pit and meat operation, running our smokers with skill and consistency. You will cut and portion to spec and monitor the quality of every pound of smoked meat that leaves your station.

You will manage inventory and food waste, follow processes to the letter, and maintain safety and sanitation standards since the brand's reputation rests on what comes off the smoker.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pitmaster, meat cutter, line cook, expediter, or prep cook.
• Disciplined, consistent, and proud of the craft.

Responsibilities

• Own the pit and meat operation; run smokers with skill and consistency, cut and portion to spec, and monitor the quality of every pound of smoked meat that leaves your station.
• Manage inventory and food waste in the pit and meat area; follow processes exactly; uphold safety and sanitation across the brand.
