Jim 'N Nick's Community Bar-B-Q is seeking a hands-on pitmaster to own the pit and meat operation, run our smokers with skill and consistency, and ensure every pound of smoked meat leaving your station meets our standards.

You'll manage inventory and food waste, follow procedures to the letter, and uphold safety and sanitation in a high-energy kitchen, with real advancement from the pit to kitchen manager as you build your reputation.

Qualifications

• Experience as pitmaster, meat cutter, line cook, expediter, or prep cook is valued.
• Disciplined, consistent, and proud of the craft.
• Low and slow cooking is a hallmark of the role and brand.

Responsibilities

• Own the pit and meat operation: run smokers with skill and consistency, cut and portion to spec, and monitor quality of every pound leaving your station.
• Manage inventory and food waste in the pit and meat area, follow procedures to the letter, and uphold safety and sanitation.
