Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Illinois or eligible to obtain.
• BLS within 30 days - AHA.
• Board Eligible/Required to complete board exam on next available date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families, and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Follows and adjusts plan of care with communication to evaluating therapist.
• Document daily notes and complete clinical documentation per policy.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercises, gait/balance training, ultrasound, e-stim, aquatic therapy.
• Coordinate with PT on patient treatment and progress.
