Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Licensure as PTA or eligibility to obtain PTA license.
• BLS certification (AHA) within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Follows PT plan of care and documents communications and treatment adjustments.
• Completes daily documentation and billing in the therapy EMR.
• Coordinates with PT on patient treatment interventions and progress.
• Communicates progress and recommendations to referring providers.
