Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (IDFPR) in Illinois.
• BLS/CPR within 30 days (AHA).
• Board eligible/required to complete board exam at next available date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers.
• Follows the therapist’s plan of care and adjusts treatment with communication and daily notes.
• Completes documentation per CTSCP67 policy and participates in annual DNV Hip/Knee requirements.
• Performs therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait/balance training, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, aquatic therapy.
• Coordinates with PT on patient treatment and communicates progress to referring providers.
