Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required for PTA licensure and eligibility.
• Current PTA licensure or eligibility in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Board eligibility to complete the next available exam date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families, caregivers, students, and staff using effective teaching approaches.
• Adheres to the plan of care and adjusts treatments based on patient response after coordinating with the PT.
• Documents care in the EMR and complies with documentation policies.
• Coordinates with PT on interventions and communicates patient progress to referring providers.
