Job summary

Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric-focused team in a skilled nursing facility.

The PTA will assist the PT with mobility therapies, support residents’ functional goals, and contribute to overall wellness and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have NJ PTA license.
• Prior SNF experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility.
• Help relieve pain and promote wellness for residents in a skilled nursing facility.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Looking for a per diem talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description:

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
