Job summary

Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center in New Jersey is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a dynamic geriatric care team. The ideal candidate holds a New Jersey PTA license and can evaluate and treat residents independently under guidance as needed.

You will assist the physical therapist with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote overall wellness in a skilled nursing setting. Per diem schedule, competitive compensation, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Jersey.
• Experience with geriatric patients preferred.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Help maintain mobility and wellness of residents in a skilled nursing facility.
• Document patient progress and follow therapy plans.

Looking for a per diem talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
