Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center in New Jersey is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. You will support PTs, evaluate and treat residents and help improve mobility and comfort in a geriatric population.

The ideal candidate holds an active PTA license in New Jersey, is able to work independently without direct supervision, and is committed to delivering compassionate, functional therapy.

Qualifications

• Must hold PTA license in state of practice.
• Per diem position requiring independence in evaluation and treatment.
• Experience in geriatric population is a plus.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Looking for a per diem talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description:

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• SNF experience preferred but not required
