Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide one-on-one care to older adults in private residences or senior living communities in Louisiana. You will focus on improving mobility, independence, and quality of life, with autonomy to create and manage treatment schedules and the option to incorporate telehealth.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and patient and caregiver education.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license.
• Degree from an accredited program in physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting and patient transfers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy to seniors in private residences or senior living settings.
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and conduct therapy sessions.
• Document patient progress accurately in EMR systems.
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, and fitness specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on safety and aging-in-place strategies.
• Utilize telehealth/virtual care when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in basic computer skills and EMR documentation


• Current CPR certification
