Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Technician to perform daily patient service activities in the PSC or as an In-office PST, following established practices and procedures. You will interact with clients and patients in a professional manner while performing phlebotomy and specimen processing with accuracy and confidence.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification is preferred (Louisiana requires it).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred (Louisiana requires it).

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and treats them with courtesy.
• Ensures all specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens and explains venipuncture procedures clearly, reducing patient anxiety.
• Completes requisitions and enters patient data into PathConnect or other systems.
• Maintains records, logs, and proper documentation of samples and transport.
