Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Technician to support the Patient Services Center and in-office PST duties under the area supervisor. You will perform venipuncture and specimen processing following established procedures, interact with clients and patients professionally, and ensure accurate data entry and specimen labeling.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and compliance with safety, privacy, and departmental policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred (required in Louisiana).
• 1 year of prior related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and maintains courteous service.
• Collects specimens accurately and explains the venipuncture process.
• Matches requisitions to tubes and correctly labels, centrifuges, and stores specimens.
• Performs basic clerical duties and data entry.
• Maintains daily records and adheres to safety policies.
