Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant to deliver venipuncture and frontline patient support at our Boston office. You will greet patients, manage intake, and assist with lab and clerical tasks to keep care flowing smoothly.

The role blends clinical service with front desk duties, requiring strong communication, empathy, and a teamwork mindset. Experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist is ideal; a high school diploma is required, and familiarity with EMR systems,

Qualifications

• Experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (6+ months) beyond training.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer software and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience.
• Provide venipuncture services for a range of patients from pediatric to adult.
• Perform extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs, vitals, vaccines, and swabs.
• Maintain accurate specimen labeling, handling, and processing; keep inventory and sterilize tools.
• Assist with front desk tasks including check-in/out, insurance verification, and scheduling.
